Nico - Obedience is often associated with working dogs and German Pinschers are no exception. Many owners enjoy this discipline with their dogs. It creates an amazing relationship between dog and handler and can lead to awards in Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze, Silver and Gold. As a Club we recommend this training and encourage new owners to join local obedience clubs. The Kennel Club has a list of Clubs that hold Good Citizen Dog Scheme trainers.
Huxley - it is widely believed that German Pinschers have a distaste for water, in fact many will jump a puddle to avoid getting wet! Not so for Huxley who from an early age has loved swimming, he thrives on the activity that he enjoys weekly! There are many Dog Pools around the UK, not only are they used for rehabilitation following an injury but also for fun! A great source of information is the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA) they also list Centres in the UK.
