About Us
The Club’s main purpose is to promote and encourage interest in our special breed whilst improving the standard. We inspire interest through a variety of means including providing information and taking part in events such as Discover Dogs. All German Pinschers and their owners are essentially ambassadors of the breed, often garnering admiration and attention on their adventures. The small (but growing) numbers of our rare breed in the UK also mean that the standard is of utmost importance. The Club does not condone breeding for profit or just to meet demand as this could adversely affect the standard and potentially the health of the breed for the future. We strive to help the breed progress in the most positive manner possible to ensure we protect German Pinschers for future generations. We hold two successful Club Open Shows and a Bi-annual Breed Seminar. Within the kennel Club we represent the breed as the Breed Liaison Council Representative (a three year post from 2021 - 2024) and also the Breed Education Co-Ordinator for the Working Group/German Pinscher. As a Kennel Club recognised breed club we adhere to the constitution and rules. You can access the full version of this by clicking on the link below.
